STATES VIDEO <br />FRANCHISE REVOCATION <br />SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />OPPOSING <br /> <br />Council Minutes - page 2 <br />March 18, 1980 <br /> <br />Rick Luce 187 Harper St. asked what the <br />status was on the Code of Ethics Ordinance. <br />The Mayor responded that he has asked the <br />City staff to review it and come back with <br />it. <br />Councilman Carnival stated that he has re- <br />ceived a rough draft of the proposed ordi- <br />nance and had asked that it be tabled <br />until the first meeting in April and this <br />is why it was not on the agenda. <br />Mr. Luce asked to be notified if a study <br />session was held regarding the ordinance. <br /> <br />Mark Leo of 1204 Grant stated that he <br />would like to know the procedure to go <br />with in filing complaints about the <br />police department. He noted that there <br />was an incident that he was not happy with <br />and wanted to file a complaint. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that Mr. Leo <br />should write a letter to the City Admin- <br />istrator and it will be carried on from <br />there. If Mr. Leo is not satisfied with <br />the results he can then proceed to Council <br />as is the procedure. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 675 on <br />second reading by title only. He reported <br />that the ordinance was published in full <br />on February 20, and the notice of public <br />hearing was published on February 27, and <br />March 5, 1980. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no comments, public hearing <br />closed. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance <br />No. 675 be adopted. Seconded by Council- <br />man DelPizzo. Roll call. AYES: Carnival, <br />Domenico, DelPizzo, Fauson, Caranci, <br />Meier. Motion carried 6 - O. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 677 on <br />second reading by title only. He reported <br />that the ordinance was published in_full <br />on February 20, and the notice of public <br />hearing was published on February 27, and <br />March 5, 1980. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Mr. Glenn Jones, Jones Intercable, Denver. <br />He stated that he was not in oppostion of <br />the revoking of the franchise, but was <br />requesting that Council table final action <br />on the ordinance until the City has <br />
