SAFEWAY HUMAN SERVICE INTEGRATION PROJECT CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER CONCLAVES OF PROPERTY APPROVAL OF REPORTS ADJOURNMENT Minutes - page 4 January 15, 1980 Councilman Meier stated that in talking with the Safeway representatives, the Louisville Grand Opening was the largest nation wide, except for one store in California which sold by the carton load. Councilman Meier stated that the Human Services are trying to gather facts to see which services are duplicated. He stated that they have been having trouble in getting assistance in gathering the information. He noted that they would like Council to consider a City represent- ative or the forming of a County advisory committee. Councilman Fauson stated that he would agree with a citizen advisory group. Councilman Caranci stated that it would have to be staff doing it. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he was not in favor of it. Councilman Carnival stated that he felt the study should be made at a different level. He also noted that he would like to see the whole plan before making any decision. Councilman Domenico stated that he would not like to get involved in it, until he knows more about it. Mr. Wurl reported that we did not have a Code Enforcement Officer, but were advertising. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he wanted to review the conclaves again and proceed to have them annexed where possible. Mr. Wurl stated that they would do what- ever the Council desires. Councilman DelPizzo moved that it be con- sidered and the necessary facts and figures be supplied by staff. Seconded by Council- man Caranci. Motion carried. 5 - I Councilman Domenico moved that comments and committee reports Seconded by Councilman carried. the council be accepted. Motion Councilman Domenico moved that the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
