Seconded by Councilman <br />Fauson. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson asked that something <br />be done on the north side of City Hall <br />where it is barricaded. Persons are <br />having to walk around in the street and <br />there is very much ice, which makes it <br />dangerous. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked what the delay <br />on the mall construction was. <br />Mr. Wurl noted that the winter weather <br />has caused problems. <br /> <br />It was noted that they were moving dirt <br />earlier in the day. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked if the City <br />was responsible for snow removal north <br />of the Safeway store and across the street <br />north of the First Federal building. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City was respon- <br />sible for those areas and he would check <br />as to why they were not cleared. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the update should be <br />completed by the next meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked about the 4 laning <br />on the hill of S. Boulder Rd. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the project would not <br />be completed this year. He also stated that <br />the developers would be responsible for <br />their portion and the City would then have <br />to cover the rest. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked Council to con- <br />sider reducing the speed limit on S. Bldr. <br />Rd. from the trailer park east to 35 M.P.H. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that he and the eng. <br />department are in the process of preparing <br />additions to the 79 model traffic code to <br />be considered by Council shortly. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked that a mail drop <br />be put in the door at City Hall. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that staff is working on <br />getting that done. <br />
