RD. MAIL DROP Minutes - page 3 January 15, 1980 Councilman Meier moved that the City Administrator report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Motion carried. Councilman Fauson asked that something be done on the north side of City Hall where it is barricaded. Persons are having to walk around in the street and there is very much ice, which makes it dangerous. Councilman DelPizzo asked what the delay on the mall construction was. Mr. Wurl noted that the winter weather has caused problems. It was noted that they were moving dirt earlier in the day. Councilman Carnival asked if the City was responsible for snow removal north of the Safeway store and across the street north of the First Federal building. Mr. Wurl stated that the City was respon- sible for those areas and he would check as to why they were not cleared. Mr. Wurl stated that the update should be completed by the next meeting. Councilman Carnival asked about the 4 laning on the hill of S. Boulder Rd. Mr. Wurl stated that the project would not be completed this year. He also stated that the developers would be responsible for their portion and the City would then have to cover the rest. Councilman Carnival asked Council to con- sider reducing the speed limit on S. Bldr. Rd. from the trailer park east to 35 M.P.H. Attorney Joss reported that he and the eng. department are in the process of preparing additions to the 79 model traffic code to be considered by Council shortly. Councilman Meier asked that a mail drop be put in the door at City Hall. Mr. Wurl stated that staff is working on getting that done.
