(7-11 STORE) <br />3.2% LIQUOR LICENSE REQUEST <br /> <br />TONY'S PLACE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />RENEWAL REQUEST <br /> <br />Minutes - page 2 <br />October 16, 1979 <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the application <br />was in order and pointed out that the <br />request is to serve 3.2% beer on the pre- <br />mises and also the sale for consumption <br />off the~ premises. <br />Councilman Berry moved that the public <br />hearing for Angelo's Pizza liquor license <br />request be set for November 20, 1979. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the information <br />for the application is in order and that <br />the notice of public hearing was properly <br />published, and that the applicants are in <br />attendance to answer any questions and <br />that a survey was taken to establish the <br />needs of the neighborhood. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Michael Bynum, representing the applicants, <br />questioned Barton Bortles, a partner, re- <br />garding his past experience and desires <br />for this establishment. Steve Janisze~vski <br />representing Oedipus, gave testimony re- <br />garding the petitions that were circulated <br />establishing the needs of the neighborhood. <br />The petitions were submitted to the City <br />for reference and file. <br />With no further corrnnents, Mayor Waschak <br />closed the public hearing. <br />There were no corrnnents from the City Council. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Bart's Rest- <br />aurant liquor license be approved. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Kilker. Roll call. <br />Kilker yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, DelPizzo yes, Meier yes. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the application <br />was in order. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the Southland <br />liquor license for 7-11 Store be renewed. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the liquor <br />license renewal application was in order. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Tony's Place <br />liquor license renewal be approved. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Kilker. Motion carried. <br />
