Erica says that they are aware of it and the <br />city is working to get it fixed with the artist. <br />XII. Arts Grants 15 min <br />a. Information/Discussion Item: Update on 2022 Grant awards (JR/Erica) <br />- Diversity and dance has been canceled. <br />- 5 recipients have completed their projects so far this year. <br />- We have Greece the Musical left to perform, Erica has not heard anything nor <br />JR. <br />- Blue Bird Arts and Craft- JR spoke with her and the artist is waiting for the right <br />opportunity to host it. <br />- Open Air Art series- JR sent email, have not heard back from them about their <br />progress <br />- Community Engagement Through Visual Art for the Coal Creek Community - this <br />will be completed JR believes. <br />- JR is not sure when the payments for the artists are, Erica says that it is when <br />the artist fills out their W2. Erica is pretty sure that some of the artists have not <br />sent in their w2 <br />i. 9/17/22 Motus Theater: "Dinner, Community Conversation, and the <br />Constitution" (JR) <br />ii. 9/25/22 "Puss in Boots/Gato con Botas" (JR) - no update <br />b. Information Item: Updates to 2023 Arts Grant Process (JR/Grace)- no updates <br />c. Action Item: Vote to approve distribution of surplus Arts Grants funds <br />-JR says that we have an extra $500 to allocate to artists- Community <br />engagement is the one that JR suggests gigging to. JR proposed to give the $500 to he <br />motions, Leah seconds. No opposed <br />-Leah asks when the 2023 application for arts grants goes out. JR says that <br />Grace and he will get together to talk about it but Erica thinks that December. This is an <br />action item to discuss for the November meeting. <br />XIII. Share community cultural events (All) <br />Erica: <br />- CU Boulder is hosting La Bohem on Friday Saturday + Sunday. <br />- The Dairy Center is hosting Amistad - Celebration of the Day of the Dead. Saturday <br />before halloween <br />- Monday Nov 14 at 7pm at Ascent Church, Fall concert of " A Spark" <br />
