On behalf of the board he proposed that they get together for one or more informal
meeting to resolve some of the issues.

Davidson agreed and a date would be arranged by Louisville's City Administrator.

Joe Pflug, 355 Lilac Circle, Louisville, Colorado, was concerned about animal control, specifically
Municipal Ordinance No. 6.04.010, paragraph B and barking dogs. He asked Council to amend the
ordinance to two or more people complaining rather than just one.

Davidson asked Pflug to call the City Administrator and go into the specifics of the situation.

COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS
NOT ON THE AGENDA

Sisk thanked Tom Mayer for the tremendous amount of time he had been spending on DRCOG.
Without his efforts the City would not have been as well represented in the dealings with the
appropriations for the moneys for the proposed Northwest Parkway and the Intergovernmental
Agreement necessitated between Louisville, Broomfield, and Boulder County.

Mayer stated that the language adopted at DRCOG was not as strong as he would have liked, but
there was language urging the parties to come to an agreement on an IGA.

Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that the City had been informed that the City of
Louisville's Living Christmas Tree project had been selected as the second place winner in the 1997
Local Government Innovation Awards Program category. The awards dinner is Wednesday, March
26, in Denver. A member of the Resource Conservation Advisory Board will be accepting the
award.

Mayer congratulated the Resource Conservation Advisory Board for their innovative idea.

2
