<br />SE.t .ABER 5, 1978 <br />Minutes - page 2 <br /> <br />COLORADO HEALTY SYSTEMS <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />COUNCIL VACANCY <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 602 <br />SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />MAJOR THOROUGHFARE FEE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 603 <br />SECOND READING <br />CONTRACTOR FEES AMENDED <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that they are asking for <br />names of persons who might be interested <br />in serving on the Board. <br />Mayor Waschak requested that the request <br />be printed in the paper. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the vacancy <br />be advertised in the paper with the dead- <br />line being September 15, 1978 and the <br />person be sworn in at the first meeting in <br />October, 1978. Seconded by Councilman Kilker. <br />Roll call vote, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, Kilker yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />There was a connnent from Joe Colacci stating <br />that he felt the City was getting to many <br />liquor outlets and felt that there should <br />be some type of control. <br /> <br />He also asked for the zoning of his <br />property on Pine Street as he was interested <br />in putting in office space. <br /> <br />Mr. Conarroe asked about the progress of <br />the parks vandalism group. He felt that <br />maybe the parks should be closed to <br />alcoholic beverages in the evening. <br />Mayor Waschak stated that many nearby <br />communities close their parks in the <br />evening to partiers and this is the reason <br />we get the people from outside the City. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that all necessary <br />publications have been made and read the <br />ordinance on second reading by title only. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no comments for or against. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br />No. 602 be adopted. Seconded by Council- <br />man Kilker. Roll call. DiCarlo no, <br />Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, Kilker yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on se- <br />cond reading by title only. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance <br />No. 603 be adopted. Seconded by Council- <br />man Caranci. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, <br />Caranci yes, Kilker yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />
