City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 1, 2022 <br />Page 8 of 8 <br />MOTION: Councilmember Leh moved to appoint Mayor Pro Tern Maloney and <br />Councilmember Most to a review committee and they will schedule a special meeting <br />for application review. <br />Councilmember Leh encouraged the committee to keep EDI in mind when reviewing the <br />applications. Mayor Stolzmann asked all members to get the word out to people that we <br />are accepting applications. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1844, SERIES 2022 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH AN EXEMPTION FROM THE <br />CITY'S SALES AND USE TAX FOR THE CARRYOUT BAG FEES ENACTED BY THE <br />STATE OF COLORADO — 1ST READING, SET PUBLIC HEARING 11/15/22 <br />MOTION: Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item by title and moved to approve the <br />ordinance on first reading; seconded by Councilmember Brown. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />None. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF <br />FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS <br />Councilmember Dickinson reported that last week's business forum was a success. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney stated the Finance Committee will meet November 28. He <br />noted the Street Faire Committee met today.
