In 1943, Frank Fabrizio resigned from his position as principal of Louisville High School, <br />and it was at that point that the Fabrizios sold 1033 Jefferson and moved to the Denver <br />area. <br />Newton & Minnie Rockley Ownership, 1943-1947 <br />Newton Rockley (1887-1969) and Minnie Baessler Rockley (1891-1946) bought 1033 <br />Jefferson in 1943. They were both born in other states. They married in Denver in 1912. <br />At the time when they purchased and moved into 1033 Jefferson, "Newt" worked as a <br />miner and they had a daughter, Carol, age about 11, living with them. They also had two <br />adult sons, Lester and Melvin, who lived elsewhere. <br />Minnie Rockley died in 1946 at the Boulder Sanitarium, and Newt Rockley sold the <br />house. <br />Brunner Family Ownership, 1947-1953 <br />In 1947, Albert Brunner (1873-1956) bought 1033 Jefferson. At the time of the 1950 <br />census, he was a widower living in the house with his grandson Billie Lewis, age 27, and <br />his granddaughter Gloria Lewis, age 28.
