GROUND PLAN SKETCH <br />:� I.NOICATE HUM6[R 9TORIE81 <br />�tv iti M <br />2TV20 W 3 <br />i a <br />ijL <br />FRONT <br />In 1953, Albert Brunner and Gloria Lewis sold 1033 Jefferson. <br />Edward & Beatrice Martella Ownership, 1953-2016 <br />Next, Edward Martella (1919-2001) and Beatrice DeSalvo Martella (1925-2016) owned <br />1033 Jefferson. They were both from local Italian families. They married in 1945 in <br />Chicago (where her family had moved) following his World War II service. This Martella <br />family owned and lived in the house for 63 years. Beatrice was a homemaker who raised <br />their children, who were Don, Carol, Rick, and Bob. Edward's obituary states that he <br />worked as a supervisor at Rocky Flats for about 25 years and served on the Louisville <br />Town Council (1966-1968). According to a 2013 article about the Martella family in <br />Colorado Hometown Weekly, Louisville resident, mother of four, reflects on gift of her <br />'jewel' — Colorado Hometown Weekly, son Rick lived at 1033 Jefferson and took care of <br />his mother at the end of her life. <br />This excerpt from a 1962 aerial photo, during the Martella ownership, shows the <br />property at 1033 Jefferson at center (looking east): <br />N. <br />21 <br />
