Seconded by Councilman Dhieux. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that a public <br />hearing be set for November 15, 1977, on a <br />liquor license application for Southland <br />Corporation dba 7 - 11 store. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss noted that a pre trial con- <br />ference was scheduled; however, a stipu- <br />lation was reached and cancelled the pre <br />trail conference. He stated that it was <br />his understanding that the suit is going <br />to be dropped. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the Ci.~y <br />Attorney report be accepted and placed on <br />file. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he has received a letter <br />from the Methodist church requesting that <br />they be allowed to install signs stating <br />the location of the church. <br />A memo from Planner Drumm noted that the <br />signs are allowed on private property; how- <br />ever, the proposed locations are on public <br />property. <br />After comments Councilman DiCarlo moved that <br />the request be denied. Seconded by Council- <br />man Dhieux. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the vehicles in question <br />have been budgeted for in the 1978 budget. <br />The staff requests that the Council authorize <br />them to call for bids. It was noted that <br />this does not mean that the cars will be <br />purchased, just quotes will be received. <br />The cars in question are the City Adminis- <br />trators car, two pick-ups and a dump truck. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that his vehicle will be <br />given to the City Engineer and the chiefs <br />call will be put in service. <br />
