Councilwoman McDonald
asked what happens if the resolution has
a specific date which states when the
subdivision requirements will be initiated
a certain date; what happens if the dead-
line is not met.
Planner Drumm stated that if they did not
meet the deadline then they would be in
violation of the regulations and the pro-
cess would have to begin again. After
discussion Councilman Domenico moved that
the Wano variance request be granted.
Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion
carried.

AUDIENCE COMMENTS
AMERICAN LEGION CANOPY

Mr. Joe Ray, representing the American
Legion, was in attendance and asked what
decision the Council made on contributing
to the purchase of a canopy to be used
at the Louisville Cemetery.
Councilman Caranci stated that he did not
think it was allowable for the City to
donate monies.
Attorney Joss checked the statutes and
found that it was allowable to appropriate
funds to charity etc.
It was stated that the canopy would be
used for the Louisville Cemetery only.
Councilman Caranci stated that there may
be requests from people in the City
to use the canopy at other cemeteries
since part of their tax dollars were
donated to the purchase of it.
Councilman DiCarlo suggested that the
legion might err mark funds for the
purchase of the canopy.
Mr. Ray stated that he did not feel
that the Legion would go along with that.
After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved
that the City appropriate $100 towards
the purchase of a canopy to be used at
the Louisville Cemetery in conjunction
with the American Legion. Seconded by
Councilman Domenico. Roll call. Domenico
yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo
yes, DiCarlo yes, McDonald yes. Motion
carried.
