<br />May 17, 1977 <br />Minutes - page 2 <br /> <br />FIRE DISTRICT <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl noted that there is still a pay- <br />ment being made on the Fire Hall and also <br />the rescue truck. <br />Mr. Poydock stated that the bills would <br />be taken over by the district at the time <br />they are legalized. <br />Mr. Poydock stated that the old rural <br />truck is getting worse and might need a <br />new engine and transmission. He stated <br />that they are still checking on the cost <br />of the repairs. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci asked who would be re- <br />sponsible for the payment on the hall <br />and equipment. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that if sales were made to <br />the fire department they would be respon- <br />sible to continue to make the payments. <br /> <br />There was no more discussion. <br /> <br />DI GRAPPA REQUEST <br />WELL DRILLING <br /> <br />Mr. DiGrappa stated that they would like <br />to drill three exploratory wells on the <br />west side of Louisville which is in the <br />comprehensive plan and is within the <br />County. <br />He stated that the County advised him that <br />rather they change the zoning on the land <br />the City annex the areas requested and the <br />drill tests then be made. <br />Mr. DiGrappa stated if City Council is <br />agreeable, that the City recommend to the <br />County that the City has no obj-ction for <br />the test drilling within the comprehensive <br />plan. <br />The County then would take the appropriate <br />action. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci asked how close building <br />could be done by the well. <br />DiGrappa stated that he thought it was <br />about 100'. <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald asked how many acres <br />would be considered for annexation. <br />Mr. DiGrappa stated that if it went to <br />annexation there would be 2 acres around <br />each well. <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald stated that she objected <br />to allowing experimental wells within the <br />City Comprehensive plan and also she was <br />against spot zoning which would be necessary. <br />
