<br />May 17, 1977 <br />Minutes - page 3 <br /> <br />DI GRAPPA REQUEST <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald asked if the drilling <br />would in any way cause problems with the <br />development of the proposed Louisville <br />West. <br /> <br />Mr. Drun~ stated that he was not sure as <br />far as what type of impact there would be <br />if any. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the area <br />was already undermined and felt that Mr. <br />DiGrappa be allowed to drill. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that the matter be tabled until the first <br />meeting in June. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, McDonald no, Domenico no, Caranci no. <br />Motion defeated. <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald then moved that Mr. <br />DiGrappa's request be denied. Seconded by <br />Councilman Caranci. Roll call: DiCarlo <br />yes, DelPizzo no, McDonald yes, Domenico <br />yes, Caranci yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #534 <br />ZONING OF SEWER PLANT <br />LAND <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance #534 on se- <br />cond reading by title only and st~ted that <br />the notice of public hearing was published <br />in the paper. He noted that the ordinance <br />deals with the zoning of the property ac- <br />quired for the expansion of the sewage <br />treatment plant. Staff noted that the <br />Planning Commission held a public hearing <br />and have recommended that Council adopt the <br />ordinance. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Mrs. Mayhoffer stated that she did not <br />see where the 1/6 contiguity came into <br />effect and also how the City could zone <br />the property industrial when she was paid <br />only agricultural prices for it; she also <br />stated that she sold only 23.9 acres and <br />wanted to know where the other 1 acre came <br />from. <br />There were no other comments - the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Staff and Council responded to Mrs. May- <br />hoffers questions. <br />Regarding the contiguity, Councilman DelPizzo <br />stated that it is received through the <br />road that goes to the sewer plant. <br />
