<br />PARKS BID CONTINUED <br /> <br />CONNIE CONNELL <br />FIRE DISTRICT <br /> <br />LETTER OF AGREEMENT <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />STEVE ANDERSON <br />30 UNIT ELDERLY HOUSING <br /> <br />April 5, 1977 <br />MINUTES - page 3 <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the work to <br />be done at Pirates Park be awarded to Poss <br />Construction, the low bidder. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Ms. Connell of Shannon Estates presented <br />Tom Poydock with a petition including <br />69% of the residents in the Shannon Estates <br />area requesting that they be included in <br />the Louisville Fire District. She stated <br />that there were some people in the area <br />who have not been contacted as of yet. <br />Mr. Poydock stated that the Shannon Estates <br />area was questionable and now the Fire <br />Dept. will need Attorney Joss's help in <br />getting everything together. <br />He stated that they are working on the <br />district boundaries and hope to get a <br />response from the County as soon as <br />possible but they do not have any time <br />schedule worked out as of yet. <br /> <br />Chief Poydock stated that he would like to <br />have approval from the City Council stating <br />that the Mutual Aid Agreement can be signed <br />by the City, stating that they will give <br />assistance or request assistance in emer- <br />gencies from other fire departments in- <br />volved in the agreement. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the City <br />Administrator be authorized to write a <br />letter okaying the request. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson stated that the contract on <br />the land purchase option will be up <br />shortly. He stated that he would like <br />Councils approval on the agreement to have <br />the time extension approved to the end of <br />August. Mr. Anderson said that it is <br />agreeable with the owner of the land, <br />First Savings Investment Corp.. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that Mayor Waschak <br />be authorized to sign the agreement for the <br />time extension on the option to purchase <br />land for the 30 unit elderly housing project. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion <br />carried. <br />It was noted that there will be no price <br />change. <br />
