<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />FEBRUARY 1, 1977 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />fOllowing Council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, <br />DiCarlo, McDonald and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, <br />City Attorney Joss, City Engineer White, City Planner Drumm, City <br />Treasurer Hesson, City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF <br />MINUTES <br />JANUARY 18, 1977 <br />MEETING <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo requested that the <br />minutes on page 4 be corrected as <br />follows: Councilman DiCarlo voted no <br />on ordinances #518 and #530 pertaining <br />to dogs. <br />With the corrections Mayor Waschak and <br />Council approved the minutes as corrected. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />DRCOG APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that no one has <br />applied for the DRCOG appointment as <br />representative from Louisville. <br />Councilman DiLorenzo suggested that the <br />Mayor appoint a representative. <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he did not feel <br />this good as the person appointed may <br />not accept the position. <br />Councilman McDonald moved that the po- <br />sition be advertised again. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />DRCOG REQUEST <br />RESOLUTION #1 <br />STANDLEY LAKE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the State Rec. <br />wanted the City's support on requesting <br />that the State take over suface rights <br />of the lake for recreational purposes. <br />He stated that the reason the request <br />has come to Louisville was because they <br />felt it effected Louisville because of <br />the location. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked if this would have <br />any effect on the Farmers Reservoir & <br />Irrigation Co. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that it would not. <br />Councilman Caranci stated that since the <br />City did not allow recreation activities <br />at our reservoir, he did not think if <br />fair to approve the Standley Lake re- <br />solution. <br />After discussion Councilman DiLorenzo <br />moved that Resolution #1 be adopted <br />supporting Standley Lake request. Seconded <br />by Councilman McDonald. Roll call. <br />Caranci no, DiLorenzo yes, McDonald yes, <br />DiCarlo no, DelPizzo no, Domenico no. <br />Motion defeated. <br />
