ORDINANCE #528 Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first reading by title only. Councilman McDonald moved that the ordinance be ordered pub- lished. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. Motion carried. ORDINANCE #529 Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first reading by title only. Councilman Caranci moved that the ordinance be ordered pub- lished. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. ORDINANCE #530 Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first reading by title only. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the ordinance be ordered pub- lished. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT Mayor Waschak stated that there were three persons who wrote letters requesting con- sideration to fill the vacancy on the P & Z Board. The persons were: Jake Thomas, Bill Elrod and Joe Ray. A secret ballot was requested by Council. The secret ballots appointed Jake Thomas as the new member with 3 votes; Bill Elrod had 2 votes, and Joe Ray 0 votes. CONTRACT EXTENTION Mr. Wurl stated that this was a request for a time extention on the land contract for the 30 unit elderly housing project. The request was for the Mayor and Clerk to sign the extension. Councilman Caranci moved that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the agreement for the time extension. Seconded by Council- man DiCarlo. Motion carried. ORDINANCE #510 2ND READING 1977 APPROPRIATIONS Mr. Wurl read ordinance #510 on second read- ing by title only. Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance #510 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. DiLorenzo yes, DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes, McDonald yes, DelPizzo yes. Motionmrried. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. 5.
