COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS FIRE DISTRICT Councilman Caranci moved that Mr. Wurl be instructed to get with the Fire Department and set out lines for a fire district and then talk with the County Commissioners on the matter. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. DITCH Councilman DiCarlo asked if the City crew burned a ditch on Warembourgs property to- day. Mr. Wurl stated that he did not know and that he would check as the ditch may have been in the city's right-of-way. He stated that he would check the matter out. PEDESTRIAN CROSSING Mr. Wurl stated that the cross walks will be painted shortly. TRUCKS Council stated that there have been some very big trucks traveling through Louis- ville and they requested that it be checked into. Councilman DelPizzo also asked if there was something that could be done with the trucks that are leaving supplies at the merchants as they are blocking traffic. RAILROAD TRACKS Councilman McDonald stated that she would like to have something done about the weeds along the railroad tracks. She stated that they should be cleaned up before they are high enough to burn. MAIN STREET PARKING Mr. Wurl stated that there have been diff- erent requests on the parking situation on Main Street. He stated that the Police, City Engineer and himself has looked at the problem and recommend that there be no parking allowed on Main Street from Pine to South Streets; 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. Sundays and Holidays. It was recommended that Mr. Wurl approach the business men at their coming luncheon with the recommendation. Councilman Caranci stated that this was tried earlier and it never worked. Mr. Joss stated that the side street should be considered also, as there are business on them. 6.
