<br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />FIRE DISTRICT <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Mr. Wurl be <br />instructed to get with the Fire Department <br />and set out lines for a fire district and <br />then talk with the County Commissioners on <br />the matter. Seconded by Councilman <br />McDonald. Motion carried. <br /> <br />DITCH <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked if the City crew <br />burned a ditch on Warembourgs property to- <br />day. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he did not know and <br />that he would check as the ditch may have <br />been in the city's right-of-way. He <br />stated that he would check the matter out. <br /> <br />PEDESTRIAN CROSSING <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the cross walks will <br />be painted shortly. <br /> <br />TRUCKS <br /> <br />Council stated that there have been some <br />very big trucks traveling through Louis- <br />ville and they requested that it be <br />checked into. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo also asked if there <br />was something that could be done with <br />the trucks that are leaving supplies at <br />the merchants as they are blocking traffic. <br /> <br />RAILROAD TRACKS <br /> <br />Councilman McDonald stated that she would <br />like to have something done about the <br />weeds along the railroad tracks. She <br />stated that they should be cleaned up <br />before they are high enough to burn. <br /> <br />MAIN STREET PARKING <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there have been diff- <br />erent requests on the parking situation on <br />Main Street. <br />He stated that the Police, City Engineer <br />and himself has looked at the problem and <br />recommend that there be no parking allowed <br />on Main Street from Pine to South Streets; <br />8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. Sundays and Holidays. <br />It was recommended that Mr. Wurl approach <br />the business men at their coming luncheon <br />with the recommendation. <br />Councilman Caranci stated that this was <br />tried earlier and it never worked. <br /> <br />Mr. Joss stated that the side street should <br />be considered also, as there are business <br />on them. <br /> <br />6. <br />
