Se-
conded by Councilman McDonald. Motion
carried.

Treasurer Hesson read the bills for the
month of November totaling $228,692.08.
Councilman Caranci moved that the bills
be accepted and checks written for the
same. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo.
Motion carried.

Mr. Wurl stated that he received a letter
from LURA on the reorganization proposal.
Mr. Wurl stated that it was presented to
Council the possibility of combining the
duties of the Urban Renewal CD director,
Housing, and Planning. The plan was
presented with a goal to save money and
accomplish more; at the same time LURA
was having internal problems of their
own and he had anticipated that the Board
would respond in a favorable manner towards
the combining. At the meeting where the
proposal was presented to the LURA Board;
they did not approve of the reorganization
proposal.
Mr. Wurl stated that he had several con-
cerns:
1. The LURA Board had some problems and
needed to define the meaning of the CD Director.
He stated that the major part of his concern
was even if the definition of the CD Direc-
tor is identified; there still is not a
full time job; which moves down to the
office help. The LURA Board have stated
that they would have the office help do
some of the work to help out the City office.
Mr. Wurl noted that the responsibility of
the CD money is the citys Council and Mayor
and if there were ever any ramifications
the City would be responsible.
After discussion on the matter Councilman
DiCarlo asked if there would be an adver-
tisement for the opening.
Mr. Wurl stated that he told the Board that
there would not be, as the job was not ad-
vertised when Mr. Chenoweth was hired.

7.
