REGULAR MEETING

LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL

NOVEMBER 4, 1976

Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the
fOllowing Council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo,
McDonald and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City
Attorney Morris, City Planner Drumm, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk
Santilli. Absent: City Engineer White.

ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES

Councilman McDonald questioned the amount
on the water shares.
Mr. Wurl stated that the amount of $3,750
was correct in the minutes. With no other
corrections, the minutes were approved.

COUNCIL ITEMS
RTD

Mr. Dick O'Dell who will be running the
paratransit operation in Louisville, re-
viewed his plans to service the area.
He stated that there will be a commuter
service which will start at 6:00 A.M. to
9:00 A.M. and from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. .
Their service will run as a delayed de-
mand response service during the other
hours.
He stated that there will not be regu-
lar bus stops, but check points.
He also was planning two round trips to
Boulder each day; one in morning and
one in the afternoon. He stated that the
plans can be changed if the service war-
rants it or if it works out to be a bad
plan.
Councilman DiCarlo stated that there are
some persons that need transportation to
Denver in the morning.
Mr. O'Dell stated that he will not be
running to Denver, but could run to
Broomfield to the park and ride to get
the Denver Boulder buses. It was noted
that the rates will be negotiated between
Mr. O'Dell and RTD.
RTD representatives were in attendance
to answer questions.
Councilman DelPizzo stated that the City
would like to see a bus come through
Louisville to pick up and return persons
who are going to Denver and Boulder. He
felt that this would not cause any in-
convenience for the person on the route.
Mr. David Leahy of RTD stated to Council
that RTD can not be a taxi service, there
must be a 24 hour advance notification.
