<br />DRCOG RESOLUTION CONT'D <br /> <br />had problems, it might be of benefit to <br />support estminster. Planner Drumm stated <br />that he had spoke with DRCOG and the City <br />requested several changes in the Resolution <br />and Mr. Drumm did not see where the <br />changes had been made, therefore it <br />was the staff recommendation that <br />Councilman DiLorenzo, representative for <br />the City to DRCOG request the tabling of <br />any action on the Resolution in question <br />until the changes are made. <br /> <br />POLICE PROTECTION VS. <br />CITY PARKS & PROPERTY <br /> <br />Council stated that they were very upset <br />with all the vandalism that has been <br />going on the past several weeks. <br />Mr. Conarroe stated that he would like <br />to see more police protection with his <br />tax dollars if necessary to stop the <br />vandals. <br />It was suggested that an officer be <br />stationed in the park all night long <br />to see if they could catch some of the <br />vandals. <br />Mr. Conarroe stated that although Chief <br />Munger spends time walking around the <br />City business area it is still possible <br />to be robbled. <br />Discussion was held on the matter but <br />no action was taken. <br /> <br />AUGUST MEETING <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak requested Council approval <br />to postpone the August 3, meeting to <br />August 10, 1976, due to vacations. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the August <br />3, meeting be rescheduled for August <br />10, 1976. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the meeting <br />be adjourned. Seconded by Councilman <br />Caranci. Motion carried. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:40 P.M. <br />
