<br />JULY MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />LCDC FENCE <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS <br />PARKING LOT SO OF CITY HALL <br /> <br />LETTER FROM WESTMINSTER <br />OPPOSING THE DRCOG RESOLUTION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl urged all members of Council <br />to be present at the Planning Commission <br />meeting, July 29, where there will be <br />a discussion of the Boulder County <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Councilman McDonald <br />informed him that the fence on the 4-plex <br />was going to be too close to the sidewalk <br />not meeting the fence regulations. <br />Councilman McDonald stated that the rea- <br />son they wanted the fence there was to <br />discourage children from cutting the <br />corner of the lot on the grass when on <br />their way to school. <br />Councilman McDonald stated that it would <br />be a split rail fence. <br />Council felt that LCDC should be asked <br />to follow the regulations in the Ordinance <br />on fencing. <br />After discussion Councilman Caranci moved <br />that the LCDC 4-plex fence must be with- <br />in the City regulations. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. <br />McDonald no, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the recommendation <br />for the direction of parking is from the <br />alley to the street. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that people have <br />been ticketed for parking the other <br />direction although it has not been posted <br />as to the correct direction to park. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would check <br />into the matter. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that he re- <br />ceived a letter from Mr. Fred Allen in <br />regards to a Resolution up for adoption <br />within DRCOG pertaining to population <br />forcast within the region. <br />The resolution doesn't give the City of <br />Louisville any problem however, there <br />may be a feeling that since Westminster <br />backed the City of Louisville when they <br /> <br />-7- <br />
