JULY MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LCDC FENCE COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS PARKING LOT SO OF CITY HALL LETTER FROM WESTMINSTER OPPOSING THE DRCOG RESOLUTION Mr. Wurl urged all members of Council to be present at the Planning Commission meeting, July 29, where there will be a discussion of the Boulder County Comprehensive Plan. Mr. Wurl stated that Councilman McDonald informed him that the fence on the 4-plex was going to be too close to the sidewalk not meeting the fence regulations. Councilman McDonald stated that the rea- son they wanted the fence there was to discourage children from cutting the corner of the lot on the grass when on their way to school. Councilman McDonald stated that it would be a split rail fence. Council felt that LCDC should be asked to follow the regulations in the Ordinance on fencing. After discussion Councilman Caranci moved that the LCDC 4-plex fence must be with- in the City regulations. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. McDonald no, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. Councilman Caranci moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that the recommendation for the direction of parking is from the alley to the street. Councilman DiCarlo stated that people have been ticketed for parking the other direction although it has not been posted as to the correct direction to park. Mr. Wurl stated that he would check into the matter. Councilman DiCarlo stated that he re- ceived a letter from Mr. Fred Allen in regards to a Resolution up for adoption within DRCOG pertaining to population forcast within the region. The resolution doesn't give the City of Louisville any problem however, there may be a feeling that since Westminster backed the City of Louisville when they -7-
