BASEBALL FIELD LIGHTS

AND

Councilman DiCarlo suggested that a time
limit be placed on the lights at the base-
ball field, as last season the lights
were left on several hours after everyone
was gone from the field.
It was suggested that someone be respon-
sible for making sure the lights are
turned off.
Councilman DelPizzo stated that although
the lights at the tennis courts are on a
timer, they sometimes don't go off until
late and don't come back on the next
night until late.
Councilman DiLorenzo stated that she
attended the Parks meeting where this was
discussed and the department put someone
in charge of the lighting.
It was stated that the Parks Director was
to be in charge of the lights.
Councilman Domenico stated that in a case
when everyone has left the ball fields
the officer on duty should notify the
person in charge to make sure the lights
are turned off.
Councilman Domenico als.o stated that if
out of City teams are using our fields
then the City should not be responsible
for the paying of the light bill for
that time.
He also stated that some of the City ball
clubs have a difficult time getting some-
one to turn the lights on for them.
He felt the parks department should not
hesitate to turn the lights on when needed
for City clubs.
Mayor Waschak asked Mr. Wurl to inform
Mr. Helart of Councils feelings and re-
quest to make sure the lights are taken
care of.

TENNIS COURT LIGHTS

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

Mr. Wurl reported that the Chairman of
the Boulder Downtown Businessmens Assoc.
notified him that they had Christmas
decorations that they would like to sell.
Mr. Wurl stated that he checked the de-
corations and they are in good condition.
He suggested that Councilman DelPizzo and
another Council member check them out.
He stated that the cost was $350.00
Mayor Waschak asked Councilmen McDonald
and DelPizzo to check them and if satisfied
the City would purchase them.
Mr. Wurl stated that he would contact
the Association and set a time to see them.

-6-
