Find every business in Louisville at ShopLouisvilleCo.com Veep a Great City Great BOARD COMMISSION VACANCIES T he City has a variety of Boards and Commissions each with specific re- sponsibilities as detailed in the Municipal Code and City Charter. Begin- ning October 1, the City will be accepting applications for vacancies on municipal Boards and Commissions. Application forms will be available on the City's web site (www.LouisvilleCo.gov) as well as at City Hall, the Library, and the Recreation Center. Each applicant will be interviewed by the City Council. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the evenings of De- MEWED cember 8th and 9th. The application deadline is 4:00 PM on November 30. Information about the activities of each Board and Commission is available on the City's web site. If you have any questions, please call 303.335.4536. The City Council will be taking applications for the following: *Board of Adjustment *Building Code Board of Appeals •Cultural Council *Historic Preservation Commission *Historical Commission *Horticulture Forestry Advisory Board *Housing Authority *Library Board ofTrustees •Local Licensing Authority *Open Space Advisory Board *Planning Commission *Resource Conservation Advisory Board •Revitalization Commission LEAF PROGRAM CHANGES T he City will no longer offer curbside pick up or bagged leaf collection as a part of the annual leaf pro- gram. Residents may continue to drop off leaves at designated leaf drop off bins throughout town, as well as at the City's Waste Water Treatment Plant, 1601 Empire Road. Please note you may only dispose of leaves or grass clippings at drop off loca- tions. Plastic bags, branches, or trash may not be disposed of at the drop off sites. If you are unable to take your leaves to designated bins, you may utilize Western Disposal's compost bins. Just toss your leaves into the compost bins and Western will take them away! Please check future utility bill mailings or the City's web site at www.LouisvilleCo. gov for more information on the 2009 Leaf Collection Program. Fall 2009
