Begin- <br />ning October 1, the City will be accepting applications for vacancies on municipal <br />Boards and Commissions. Application forms will be available <br />on the City's web site (www.LouisvilleCo.gov) as well as at <br />City Hall, the Library, and the Recreation Center. <br />Each applicant will be interviewed by the City Council. <br />Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the evenings of De- <br />MEWED cember 8th and 9th. The application deadline is 4:00 PM on <br />November 30. <br />Information about the activities of each Board and Commission is available on <br />the City's web site. If you have any questions, please call 303.335.4536. <br />The City Council will be taking applications for the following: <br />*Board of Adjustment <br />*Building Code Board of Appeals <br />•Cultural Council <br />*Historic Preservation Commission <br />*Historical Commission <br />*Horticulture Forestry <br />Advisory Board <br />*Housing Authority <br />*Library Board ofTrustees <br />•Local Licensing Authority <br />*Open Space Advisory Board <br />*Planning Commission <br />*Resource Conservation <br />Advisory Board <br />•Revitalization Commission <br />LEAF PROGRAM <br />CHANGES <br />T he City will no longer <br />offer curbside pick up <br />or bagged leaf collection as a <br />part of the annual leaf pro- <br />gram. Residents may continue <br />to drop off leaves at designated leaf drop <br />off bins throughout town, as well as at the <br />City's Waste Water Treatment Plant, 1601 <br />Empire Road. <br />Please note you may only dispose of <br />leaves or grass clippings at drop off loca- <br />tions. Plastic bags, branches, or trash may <br />not be disposed of at the drop off sites. <br />If you are unable to take your leaves to <br />designated bins, you may utilize Western <br />Disposal's compost bins. Just toss your <br />leaves into the compost bins and Western <br />will take them away! <br />Please check future utility bill mailings <br />or the City's web site at www.LouisvilleCo. <br />gov for more information on the 2009 Leaf <br />Collection Program. <br />Fall 2009 <br />
