<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />FEBRUARY 17, 1976 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meE~ting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the fol- <br />lowing Council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo, <br />McDonald and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Engineer White, City Clerk Santilli. Absent: City Attorney Morris and <br />City Treasurer Hesson. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes as presented. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />POLICE VEHICLE BIDS <br /> <br />Council received a tabulation of vehicle <br />bids along with a recommendation from the <br />Police Chief that the 1975 Valiant be <br />first choice and second choice being a <br />1976 Fury. It was stated that the vehicle <br />was budgeted for. Chief Munger stated <br />that the new vehicle would be for his <br />use and the car he now has would be put <br />into service. He stated however, that <br />he felt if a new service vehicle was pur- <br />chased and he kept his old car, the City <br />would be better off. <br />It was stated that the police department <br />has two vehicles and one van; the add- <br />ition would make four vehicles. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that since the <br />car would not be used in service he thought <br />a smaller type car could be purchased. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that the request for an additional vehicle <br />be denied. Motion died for lack of se- <br />cond. Councilman McDonald then moved <br />that Council authorize the leasing of the <br />1976 Fury for the Police Department as shown <br />under item #7 in the bid tabulation. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Coun- <br />cilman Domenico then moved to amend the <br />motion stating that the car to be pur- <br />chased will be put into service and the <br />Chiefs vehicle at present will remain with <br />the Chief. Seconded by Councilman <br />McDonald. Roll call on amendment. Domenico <br />yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />no, DiLorenzo yes, McDonald yes. Motion <br />carried. <br />Roll call on motion as amended. Domenico <br />yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo no, DelPizzo <br />yes, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />
