GREEN - FORREST SERVICE <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico asked that Engineer White <br />check into an alley way off Mead St. which he <br />felt should be vacated. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that there is a <br />problem with the drainage at that area. Mr. <br />Wurl stated that the problem has been checked <br />several times and stated that the only solution <br />to the problem is to install a storm sewer. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the street could be re- <br />constructed which would call for the relining <br />of curbs and gutters, but doing this would still <br />not completely corredt the project. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that he received a <br />letter from DRCOG stating that they need to <br />have appointments to their advisory committees <br />no later then July 11, 1975. After discussion <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the following <br />appointment recommendations be sent to DRCOG: <br /> <br />CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE - RICHARD HERSHEY <br /> <br />CHIEF ADMIN. OF OFFICERS COMM. - LEON WURL <br /> <br />PARKS & REC. ADVISORY COMM. - KEITH HELART <br /> <br />REGIONAL PLANNING ADVISORY COMM. - DENNIS DRUMM <br /> <br />WATER RESOURCES ADVISORY COMM. - DAN WHITE <br /> <br />HOUSING ADVISORY COMM. - STEVE ANDERSON <br /> <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo read the letter from DRCOG <br />in regards to the proposed Mizel Annexation. <br />The letter requested the presence of Louisville <br />for the presentation at the July 16, 1975, <br />meeting. Mr. Wurl stated that Mr. Drumm would <br />be out of town and he would like to have him <br />present for the presentation so he would like <br />to have DRCOG detain the presentation until <br />the next meeting. It was suggested that Mr. <br />Bob Farley be contacted and asked for a delay <br />on the presentation. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that Mr. Green had <br />contacted him, and he will be present at the <br />next Council meeting to discuss the Dutch Elm <br />Disease. He stated to Mr. DelPizzo that he <br />would like the City to pass a resolution <br />so that in the future they could come and inspect <br />the trees and the City be able to take action <br />on having the infected trees removed. Mr. <br />Wurl stated that it could create many problems <br />with older people on a fixed income. He also <br />stated that he informed Mr. Green to write a <br />letter stating just how extensive the problem <br />was in Louisville. Councilman Domenico stated <br /> <br />-4- <br />
