PUBLIC MEETNG <br />REGARDING COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN UPDATE <br /> <br />CHIEF MUNGER - <br />UNIFORM ALLOWANCE <br /> <br />CIVIL DEFENSE <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Ordinance changed <br />the base amount from $50.00 to $250.00 <br />but did not change the charge for the <br />labor. Councilman DelPizzo stated his <br />objections on the charge for labor being <br />added on to the job. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico asked what ever <br />became of the cat ordinance. Mayor <br />Waschak stated that Council was to re- <br />view the sample ordinances and come <br />back with suggestions. He stated that <br />when Council is ready the discussion <br />will be held on the matter. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Dhieux stated that C.A.C. <br />would like to hold a public meeting <br />to help familiarize the citizens on <br />the Comprehensive Plan update. She <br />stated that since they are asking <br />this she felt that if permission is <br />granted it should be stressed that the <br />update began before Mizel was even <br />known to the City, as a person or his <br />proposed annexation requests to the City. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the meeting has <br />beE!TI scheduled for June 17, 1975 with <br />Mr. White and Mr. Drumm making the <br />presentation and he will inform them <br />to state the fact of the date the update <br />began. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico asked if Chief <br />Munger was paid a uniform allowance. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he is paid. Coun- <br />cilman Domenico stated that he has <br />had calls of Chief Munger not wearing <br />a uniform and he felt that if he is not <br />wearing a uniform he should not be <br />paid for wearing one. <br />This will be discussed at the Police <br />Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico asked that Mr. Wurl <br />set up a meeting with himself, Gene <br />Barday, and Duane Elrod to discuss the <br />picking up of Civil Defense equipment. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would get with <br />the men. <br />
