<br />KEITH HELART <br />SERVICE EXPANSION FEE <br /> <br />COAL CREEK TRAIL <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />LEASE BID - POLICE CAR <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />CONSORTIUM REPORT <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br />Mr. Helart reported that according to <br />Ordinance #416 the money in the fund can <br />be used for acquisition of land. <br /> <br />Mr. Helart asked for permission to use <br />approximately $3,885.00 of the service <br />expansion fee for study of a bike trail <br />along Coal Creek which would eventually <br />tie in with the Colorado State trails. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo. <br />moved to table the approval until a legal <br />opinion is obtained from Paul regarding <br />the condemnation of land outside of the <br />City limits and be discussed again May <br />20, 1975. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the City <br />received one bid from 1st Municipal <br />Leasing Corporation. It was stated that <br />this was the vehicle that was brought <br />before Council to go out for bids. <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if it would be <br />possible to purchase a smaller vehicle. <br />Chief Munger stated that in the long run <br />the smaller cars are not much cheaper <br />because of all the equipment that must <br />be added. <br />Councilman DelPizzo also asked if it would <br />be possible to have a policeman walk for <br />two hours through the business area. Chief <br />Munger stated that the police were patroling <br />on foot about one hour a day. <br />After further discussion Councilwoman <br />Dhiuex moved that the City Administrator <br />be authorized to sign the agreement with <br />1st Municipal Leasing Corp. for the purchase <br />of the police vehicle for amount stipulated <br />in the agreement. Seconded by Councilman <br />Caranci. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry <br />yes, DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux <br />yes, DiCarlo no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Dhieux reported on the <br />Consortium meeting held April 9, 1975. <br />She stated that RTD was discussed. She <br />stated that RTD will be coming to Louisville <br />to establish input as to our City needs. <br />She stated that there was also an update <br />of Coal Creek project by Joe Madonna and <br />Noel Hobbs. <br />
