<br />KEITH HELART REPORT cont'd <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked what was being <br />done about a pile of dirt on the North <br />side where water has been collecting. Mr. <br />Helart stated that the City crew has <br />been cleaning the ditch and have dug a <br />trench to drain the water. The hillside <br />will be sodded. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Dhieux asked about the light- <br />ing of Miners Field. Mr. Helart stated <br />that with the new Public Service Fran- <br />chise due at the end of 1974 they were <br />going to try and have Public Service put <br />in the system and maintain it cost free <br />to the City. Parks decided not to take <br />any action this late in the summer and <br />they want to wait on Public Service to <br />see how they respond. Mr. Helart <br />stated that an all metal pole system is <br />what Parks would like to put in and the <br />old poles could be used elsewhere. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that some <br />coaches would like to have keys to <br />get into the building at the ball field <br />to get equipment, etc. Mr. Helart <br />stated that more keys could be made for <br />the coaches. <br /> <br />Mr. Helart requested that a meeting <br />be scheduled with the Finance Committee <br />and the Parks & Rec Board. Council- <br />woman Dhieux requested that Mr. Wurl also <br />be present at the meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico reported on the <br />Police Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Scholl requested that prior <br />to the July 29, meeting with Wood Bros. <br />and 1st Federal, Council be given a report <br />on how much money has been brought in by <br />Service Expansion fee and how much has <br />been spent and left. Also, how much <br />has been brought in on the water and <br />sewer tap prepaid fees. It was requested <br />that this information be ready for the <br />next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Jerry McDonald remarked on the low speed <br />on South Boulder Road. Council asked that <br />the matter be placed on the next agenda <br />for the Police Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry reported that nothing has <br />been settled on the Marshall Lake water. <br /> <br />2. <br />
