KEITH HELART REPORT cont'd COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilman DelPizzo asked what was being done about a pile of dirt on the North side where water has been collecting. Mr. Helart stated that the City crew has been cleaning the ditch and have dug a trench to drain the water. The hillside will be sodded. Councilwoman Dhieux asked about the light- ing of Miners Field. Mr. Helart stated that with the new Public Service Fran- chise due at the end of 1974 they were going to try and have Public Service put in the system and maintain it cost free to the City. Parks decided not to take any action this late in the summer and they want to wait on Public Service to see how they respond. Mr. Helart stated that an all metal pole system is what Parks would like to put in and the old poles could be used elsewhere. Councilman DelPizzo stated that some coaches would like to have keys to get into the building at the ball field to get equipment, etc. Mr. Helart stated that more keys could be made for the coaches. Mr. Helart requested that a meeting be scheduled with the Finance Committee and the Parks & Rec Board. Council- woman Dhieux requested that Mr. Wurl also be present at the meeting. Councilman Domenico reported on the Police Commission meeting. Councilwoman Scholl requested that prior to the July 29, meeting with Wood Bros. and 1st Federal, Council be given a report on how much money has been brought in by Service Expansion fee and how much has been spent and left. Also, how much has been brought in on the water and sewer tap prepaid fees. It was requested that this information be ready for the next Council meeting. Jerry McDonald remarked on the low speed on South Boulder Road. Council asked that the matter be placed on the next agenda for the Police Commission meeting. Councilman Berry reported that nothing has been settled on the Marshall Lake water. 2.
