Seconded by Council-
woman Scholl. Motion carried.

ARCHITECTURAL STEEL ESTIMATE Councilman Berry moved that Council approve
the payment in the amount of $31,416.35
for the Bath House. Seconded by Council-
woman Dhieux. Roll call. Domenico yes,
Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo
yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS

Councilman DiCarlo asked if it is legal
to withhold payments because of the fail-
ure to put a safety fence up or some type
of safety factor. Attorney Morris stated
that payment could probably be withheld.
Mr. Helart stated that OSHA has no reg-
ulations inregards to fencing. It is
mainly concerned with employess of the
contractor and not citizens. The contrac-
tor has been informed.

BUILDING INSPECTOR REPORT

Mr. Mel Stephan the City Building Inspec-
tor was asked several questions on the
old Baptist Church, also questions in
regards to the inspecting of the Noonan
property. Mr. Stephan stated that the
inspection was on request of the loan
company.

Mayor Waschak stated that Mr. Al Aguero
asked if the City could do anything with
the gasoline storage drums across the
street from his home.

Mr. Helart reported that Parks & Rec have
received two grants. One for $30,000.00
for Cottonwood Park, a $10,000.00 grant
was alos received for tennis courts. The
tennis courts were originally planned to
be placed in Louisville North subdivision.
Due to the slow development the courts
would be placed in a field. Mr. Helart
stated that he would like Council to
consider the possibility of placing some
type of recreation at the south end of
the City. Parks & Rec. may accept land
but they can not legally purchase it.
Mr. Helart stated that he would have to
notify the state as to where the courts
would be within about one month to get the grant.

2.
