<br />LURA REPORTS cont'd <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />GRANT APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />WATER IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />FLEMING ADENDUM <br /> <br />man DelPizzo resignation. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Deborski said that CAC now has a <br />vacancy due to Mr. Jim Owens resignation <br />and that they would like to have Mrs. <br />Meredith Madonna appointed to the Board. <br />Councilman Berry moved that Meredith <br />Madonna be appointed to the CAC Board. <br />Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak reported that he received <br />a letter from Broomfield stating that <br />they are not interested in coming in on <br />the Coal Creek project at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed. Deborski made a request that the <br />Water Consultant and Joe Madonna and CAC <br />get together and discuss the Coal Creek <br />project if possible at no cost. There <br />were no objection. <br /> <br />Mr. W. Baker requested an extension on <br />the sidewalk situation since the school <br />is not yet out. He stated that it would <br />be difficult to get the project done <br />carefully. After discussion Councilman <br />DiCarlo moved that an extension be made <br />to July 19, 1974 for the property owner <br />to put in the sidewalks. Seconded by <br />Councilman Berry. Roll call. Berry yes, <br />Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. After <br />July 19, 1974 any sidewalk that is not <br />put in will be put in by the City at the <br />property o\vners expense. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that there was a good <br />possibility that the City was going to <br />receive the three grants requested for <br />the parking lot, downtown improvement, <br />and the industrial improvement grant. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he had an outlined <br />proposed water improvements which should <br />be checked. He suggested that the water <br />committee have a meeting or the Council <br />have a special meeting to review the <br />proposed improvements. This meeting would <br />include water tap fees also. <br /> <br />Basically this is to submit to Council an <br />estimated cost that would relate to the <br />improvement or installation of the nec- <br />essary culvert and dirt and land fill on <br />the north side of the fire house. It <br />was originally added in the estimate of <br /> <br />4. <br />
