<br />SEADER LIQUOR LICENSE cont'd <br /> <br />SHIMMING POOL RETAINING lVALL <br /> <br />HOUSU~ AUIHORITY APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />WHITE FRON LIQUOR LICENSE CHANGE <br /> <br />STREET I:W1E CHIu~G'E <br /> <br />Berry asked if the building had been inspected. <br />Mr. Seader stated that he had a rough inspection <br />before the meeUng. After the discussion a roll <br />call vote was taken. Domenico yes, Berry yes, <br />Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that there was an <br />addition to the contract with Architectural Building <br />SystEmS, Co. for a retaining wall for the swimning <br />pool in the arrount of $4,206. 00. Hr. Wur 1 read the <br />memo fran the City Engineer stating that Pad'.s <br />& Rec has approved the construction of the wall <br />and that they also submitted to the Bureaus of <br />Outdoor Recreation for an increase in grant <br />participation. Councihvoman Dhieux asked where <br />the balance will cane from. It will be paid by <br />the pool bond money. Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that Council grant Parks & Rec permission to go <br />ahead and contract the construction of the wall. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Councilman <br />DiCarlo asked if permission was denied by Council <br />could Parl<s & Rec still contract the building of <br />the wall. Nr. Wurl stated that they could and are <br />now in the process of getting it taken care of. <br />Roll call. Danenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, <br />Dhieux yes, DelPlzzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilwanan Scholl moved that Barbara McDonald <br />be appointed to Housing Authority. Seconded by <br />CmIDcilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Mrs. McDonald <br />will replace Mr. Donovan. <br /> <br />Counci1man Domenico moved that Council approve the <br />White Front liquor license change pending the FBI <br />and CBI check. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked Hr. Turner if he planned <br />on the keeping of extended hours. Mr. Turner <br />stated that he did. Roll call. Domenico yes, <br />Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the streets in <br />question were Garfield and Lafayette. Councilman <br />DiCarlo suggested that Garfield Street in the <br />Parl<:v.-ood subdivision be changed. Mr. Wurl stated <br />that as in Mr. Whites mana from the last meeting <br />streets should always be the same distance through- <br />out the City. After the discussion on Garfield <br />St. Councihvornan Dhieux moved that Garfield be <br />kept as it is and continue into the subdivisions. <br />Seconded by Councihnan DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br />On Lafayette St., Mr. DelPizzo felt that if the <br />name of this street was changed to identify the <br />Parl<:v.-ood area it Y.Ould help people who came into <br />the City. Councilman DiCarlo stated that the ads <br />made by Wood Brothers use Lafayette St.. to direct <br /> <br />-3- <br />
