Mr. Seader stated that he had a rough inspection before the meeUng. After the discussion a roll call vote was taken. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl informed Council that there was an addition to the contract with Architectural Building SystEmS, Co. for a retaining wall for the swimning pool in the arrount of $4,206. 00. Hr. Wur 1 read the memo fran the City Engineer stating that Pad'.s & Rec has approved the construction of the wall and that they also submitted to the Bureaus of Outdoor Recreation for an increase in grant participation. Councihvoman Dhieux asked where the balance will cane from. It will be paid by the pool bond money. Councilman DiCarlo moved that Council grant Parks & Rec permission to go ahead and contract the construction of the wall. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Councilman DiCarlo asked if permission was denied by Council could Parl<s & Rec still contract the building of the wall. Nr. Wurl stated that they could and are now in the process of getting it taken care of. Roll call. Danenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPlzzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Councilwanan Scholl moved that Barbara McDonald be appointed to Housing Authority. Seconded by CmIDcilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Mrs. McDonald will replace Mr. Donovan. Counci1man Domenico moved that Council approve the White Front liquor license change pending the FBI and CBI check. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Councilman DiCarlo asked Hr. Turner if he planned on the keeping of extended hours. Mr. Turner stated that he did. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Councilman DelPizzo stated that the streets in question were Garfield and Lafayette. Councilman DiCarlo suggested that Garfield Street in the Parl<:v.-ood subdivision be changed. Mr. Wurl stated that as in Mr. Whites mana from the last meeting streets should always be the same distance through- out the City. After the discussion on Garfield St. Councihvornan Dhieux moved that Garfield be kept as it is and continue into the subdivisions. Seconded by Councihnan DiCarlo. Motion carried. On Lafayette St., Mr. DelPizzo felt that if the name of this street was changed to identify the Parl<:v.-ood area it Y.Ould help people who came into the City. Councilman DiCarlo stated that the ads made by Wood Brothers use Lafayette St.. to direct -3-
