<br />REGULAR .NEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />DECEMBER 4, 1973 <br /> <br />ARLO WILSON <br /> <br />Chairman Frank Domenico reported all police officers <br />were introduced to the Mayor and Council elect. <br />Chief Munger informed them of the Code Enforcement <br />Officer's duties and then asked permission to lower <br />the age limit of the Reserve officers. A discussion <br />was held and no definite decision made. Will bring <br />up age limit again at next meeting. Since the <br />matter of carrying weapons at age 19 might pose <br />a problem. <br />Painting of the curbs will be done as weather per- <br />mi t s . <br />Also discussed if an alley is not vacated the law <br />would be enforced as to stopping, parking and <br />standing in same, should emergency vehicles have <br />to enter. <br />Employment of new officers - are not to be hired <br />before FBI check is returned; and officers should <br />be presented to the Council members at the time <br />of appointment or approval. <br />Retired patrolman Arlo Wilson called and was <br />advised that he would be put on the January Agenda. <br />After discussion, meeting was set for December <br />26, 1973 at 7:30 P.M. with Arlo Wilson, Attorney <br />Horris, Nayor and Council and l1ayor and Council <br />elect if they wish to attend. <br /> <br />POLICE C011MISSION <br />REPORT <br /> <br />PROCEDURES <br /> <br />Councilman Jensen suggested that the l1ayor and Council <br />elect meet with City AdministratorWurl and set <br />dOWin the basic policies and priorities they wish <br />him to undertake as soon as possible so he won't <br />be in a state of limbo. In his opinion the council <br />and administration will be able to perform more <br />efficiently if Council will assist Administrator <br />Wurl in this way. <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL COURT <br />REPORT <br /> <br />95 cases amounting to $819.00. Councilman King <br />moved the Municipal Court Report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />HEALTH OFFICERS <br />REPORT <br /> <br />Councilman King moved that the Health Officers <br />Report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded <br />by Councilman Deborski. All in favor. Hotion <br />carried. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br /> <br />Bills read in the amount of $103,398.61. Council- <br />man King moved that bills be approved and warrants <br />be drawn. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. All <br />in favor. :Itvlotion carried. <br /> <br />Page -. 6 - <br />
