H(:m~o~k and Johnstc;n submitted a replat that provided for a dlvls~on of lc;t 4 lnto 4 and 5. It will not add to density but wlll conSJ_st of smaller number of units on each lot. Councilman King mc;ved that replat be approved as presented. Seconded by Councllman Deborski. Roll call vote - Deborski aye, King aye.. Donovan aye, Scholl aye, Domenico aye. Motion carried. -. Councilman King moved that a letter be sent to the County Commissioners stating Jack Lang be appointed to the Long Range Planning Commission. Seconded by Councilman Donovan. All in favor. Motion carried. Mr. & Mrs. Earl Donald Pickett requested that Harper Street be vacated (north side of park area). Councilman Deborski moved that the City Engineer and Attor- ney find out 'What repricussions would be on Grant Ave. and North Harper if this area was vacated. Seconded by Council- man King. All in favor. Motion carried. Councilman Donovan reported Housing Authority group are having a meeting on non-profit organization - trying to get homes for elderly citizens. FHA will loan amounts of dollars UD to $100,000 to purchase land. If we could find programs to develop and sell it back to them and recover original in- vestment. Need ten individuals to sponsor. City Adminis- trator Wurl to discuss this with Bob Davis. CAC has opening for several members. Donald Davies has applied. Council agreed that we should have written ap- plications. Comment by Councilman Deborski - since CAC has approved two annexations, Council should up-date utilities in the City. Will have ready by next meeting, proposed street depart- ment improvement, water meter plan priorities. Sewer Plant and interceptor will be all we will get done this season. Estimates for Penner & Dye Construction - Penner $8,931.16 - Dye $17,254.89. Dye project request for extra pay fOT the sewer manhole at Main and Lafayette Sts. Recommendation of City Administrator and City Engineer that Bruns pay the bill, due to the fact that the error was the fault of the Consulting Engineers. Councilman King moved that Council authorize payment to Penner on project 616.l00A in the amount of $8,931.16 and to Dye Construction on project 676-l00B in the amount of $17,254.89. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. Roll call vote - Deborski aye, King aye, Donovan aye, Scholl aye, Domenico aye. Motion carried. Councilman King moved that Council not accept change order 802-95 to job 676-100B in the ~mount of $90 based on recommedation. Seconded by Councllman Deborski. Roll call vote - Deborski aye, King aye, Dono- van aye, Scholl aye, Domenico aye. Motion carried.
