<br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />ATTORNEY'S <br />REPORT <br /> <br />ORDINANCE {/406 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 11408 <br /> <br />Louisville City Council <br /> <br />February 20, 1973 <br /> <br />Coun.c:i1ma.n Jensen moved that we enter into negotiations <br />with Aquarius for the three (3) acres of land plus $10,00 in <br />escrow for fe:nce: plus leveling of the three acres. Seconded by <br />Councilman DClnovan. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Ki.ng inquired of Mr. Brock, representing Aquarius, <br />you say if YCIU get annexation and zoning we have a deal. Suppose <br />you don't get: it, will you make this land available to us at <br />a fait1y reasonable rate. I would like to see it stipulated <br />that if you ~Iell that you offer us the three acres. <br /> <br />Mr. Brock st'lted we would give the City of Louisville the right <br />to purchase t.hree acres. <br /> <br />Councilman Jlmsen moved that a letter be sent to the City of <br />Lafayette suting we have no objections to the annexation of <br />Aquarius. Sl!conded by Councilman Domenico. All in favor. <br />Motion cart-ilad. <br /> <br />C. Dump Trul::k .- Council requested additional quotes. <br />D. Rezoning Request - Hiway 42 and South Boulder Road tabled <br />until new zOllling ordinance is adopted. <br />E. Baptist Church - New inspection on what has taken place. <br />Report forthcoming. <br />F. Street Ilmprovement Report - Progressing very well depicting <br />utility status in streets and alleys. <br /> <br />A. Mayhoffer Land - acquisition eminent domain had hearing on <br />February 16th. Attorney for Mayhoffer raised several things. <br />Hearing set over till February 28th at 2:00 P.M. MST. Appraisal <br />set at $62,500 for 23.9 acres. No final determination as to what <br />would be an equitable payment to the Mayhoffers for their property. <br /> <br />B. Baptist Church Easement - Attorney for the Church settled for <br />$1,000.00 - abandon the old right-of-way, replace the tap on the <br />new line. Councilman Deborski moved to authorize the Mayor to <br />sign releasE: of the easement on property by the Church and $1,000 <br />easement feE~ payment be made. Seconded by Councilman Jensen. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Donovan <br />Councilman Deborski. <br />and Domenico - yes <br /> <br />Ordinance lI~f06 relating to Business Licenses. <br />moved Ordimmce 11406 be published. Seconded by <br />Roll call vc)te - Councilmen Deborski, Donovan, <br />Councilman Jensen - no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Ordinance fll.08 relating to Junk Cars. Council Donovan moved to <br />publish Ordjlnance f/408. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. All <br />in favor. Motion carried. <br />
