<br />COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />November 16, 1971 <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Lawrence ~aranci. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Present King, Berry, Mudrock and Perrella <br />Absent Tomeo and Dondelinger. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: Accepted as presented. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE: None <br /> <br />Liquor license for White Front Inn, Eugene and James Vecchearelli, <br />attorney found it to be in order.Motion by Berry seconded by <br />Mudrock that application be approved after finger prints are taken <br />of James Vecchearelli. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ITEMS ON AGENDA: <br /> <br />1. Water service to Continental View Drive. Copy of letter to <br />be sent to Planning Commission. <br /> <br />2. Amendment to water ordinance in regiards to meters. Water <br />ordinance never changed in regards to users purchasing own <br />meter and fittings. Users may purchase meter and fittings <br />as long as it is the standard meter being used in the City. <br /> <br />3. Golden Concrete purchased Lot 2, 3, and 4 in Industrial <br />area consisting of 3.24 acres. Amount $2,959.06. <br />Attorney to obtain title. Motion by Perry seconded by <br />Perrella to grant Mayor permission to sign to execute <br />title. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Derry seconded bV Mudrock to have budget published. <br />Motion carried. Total budget $864,750.00. <br /> <br />4. City Attorney to answer letter in regards to false arrest. <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs Walden came before council to discuss maintainance <br />of recreation grounds. Council assured them that the City <br />would take care of grounds. Requested letter to this effect. <br /> <br />Water pipe line assessment to be raised $1.50 to cover bond <br />expense in 1972 and an amendment made to the water ordinance. <br /> <br />Municipal Court reql~sted permission to purchase stationary <br />and envelopes for court. Motion by Berry seconded by Mudrook <br />to a110\o1 purchase. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Dennis Lundberg stated the public hearing on Housing Code to <br />be December 7th. Certificate to be filed with the State. <br />
