Louisville City Council Meeting <br />November 8, 2000 <br />Page 3. <br />Brown stated that he attended a preliminary meeting with the Task Force of the Highway <br />42 Corridor.. He reported that there would be a public meeting on Thursday, November <br />16, 2000, 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers. He encouraged anyone interested in <br />that corridor to attend. <br />Sisk asked City Administrator Simmons to report on the results of Louisville Business <br />Improvement District mail ballot election. <br />Simmons reported that 125 mail ballots were sent out to the eligible voters within the <br />business improvement district. He noted that 62 ballots were received back, with 31 <br />voting for and 31 against. Simmons explained that state law requires a majority vote, <br />therefore the Louisville Business Improvement District has failed. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />PROCLAMATION -HOME CARE/HOSPICE MONTH <br />Mayor Davidson declared November 2000 as National Home Caze Month in Louisville <br />and presented a proclamation to Dee Mueller, Centura Home Care and Hospice <br />representative. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1344,, SERIES 2000 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN , <br />ANNEXATION, KNOWN AS THE FISCHER ANNEXATION, TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 2°d reading -public hearing -continued from <br />October 17, 2000 (advertised Daily Camera 9/10/00) <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1344, Series 2000. Light asked that the <br />following documents be included into the record by motion: <br />The annexation and zoning application filed by the applicant, <br />All documents the applicant has filed with the City, <br />All documents presented to the City Council including City Council packets, <br />City zoning and subdivision ordinances and comprehensive plan, <br />Resolution No. 36, Series 1993 and any other public records in the Planning <br />Department files that propose the annexation and zoning. <br />
