Work cooperatively with other City Boards and Commissions on matters of mutual <br />interest <br />Provide an opet public forum at each meeting, anti add tional'public hearings as <br />appropriate. <br />IG- Other goals and duties as requested by the Louisville City Council <br />Section 3: Board Composition <br />The Board will consist of five seven members appointed by the Mayor and City Council. Board <br />members shall serve without pay. The City Administrator or his designee shall also serve as an ex <br />officio member <br />Section 4: Intent of Appointments <br />City Council's intent is to make appointments to reflect different geographic areas and view points <br />to develop balance within theBoard encouraging recommendations considering the needs of the <br />entire City. <br />City Council will initially appoint three four members until January 2002 and two. three additional <br />board members will be appointed to serve until January 2001. Upon completion of initial terms of <br />office, all appointments shall be for two years. <br />In the event any Board member ceases to serve or resigns, City Council shall appoint a new <br />member in the same manner the previous member was appointed to serve the remainder of the <br />term. <br />
