PROGRESSIVE URBAN
MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES
P.U.M.A.
1616 SEVENTEENTH STREET
S U I T E 2 6 2
DENVER, COLORADO 80202
TELEPHONE: 303/628 -5554
FAX 303/628 -5557
April 30, 1999
Cheri Ruskus
Downtown Business Association of Louisville
c/o The Business Shop
801 Main Street, Suite 125
Louisville, CO 80027
Dear Cheri:
Christian Brixey and I enjoyed meeting with you and downtown's
business and civic leaders to discuss challenges and opportunities in
Downtown Louisville. From our meeting and subsequent conversations, we
are submitting a revised consulting proposal from Progressive Urban
Management Associates (P.U.M.A.) to assist the City and downtown
stakeholders develop a market -driven vision and niche strategy to guide future
development and policies.
The proposal is similar to the approach that we suggested m February
of 1998 Creation of a downtown economic profile, niche marketing
strategy and implementation plan. The attached version deletes much of the
citywide outreach and surveying from our earlier proposal and adds
recommendations for parking and zoning policies to accommodate future
development. We have been able to reduce the estimated cost of the proposal
by about $10,000 to $18,087. A new scope of services and consulting fee
matrix are attached.
We look forward to having an opportunity to work with you and the
downtown community to create a market driven vision that results in
consensus, enthusiasm and action for Downtown Louisville's future.
Please contact me at 628 -5554 or Christian at 628 -5558 if we can
provide any additional information.
Sincerel
M ley Segal
President
