Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1254, Series 1997, "An ordinance amending Title 13 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code to clarify that water and sewer tap permits shall be appurtenant to the <br />property for which the permits are issued, and making other conforming amendments in connection <br />therewith." <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that this amends the Municipal Code to clarify that each <br />water and sewer tap permit issued by the City would be appurtenant to the property for which the <br />permit is issued and it may not be transferred apart from the property. This will ease the <br />administration of the permit system. <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1254. <br />NONE <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br />Mayer moved that Council approved Ordinance No. 1254, Series 1997, amending Title 13 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code, seconded by Keany. Roll call was taken. "An ordinance approving the vacation <br />of a portion of a sewer easement within the City of Louisville." <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this is a "housekeeping issue," as Coal Creek Associates <br />requested that the City release its interest in a 25' wide sewer easement located in Coal Creek Ranch <br />Filing No. 3 affecting Lots 118 125 paralleling South 88th Street. <br />Sisk moved that Council place Ordinance No 1255, Series 1997, out for publication and set the <br />public hearing for April 1, 1997, seconded by Howard. <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, asked for a correction on the first page of the ordinance, fourth <br />"Whereas" clause adding the word "not" after "...the sewer easement is... <br />Sisk and seconder Howard accepted that.
