All in <br />favor. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br />APPROVAL OF BID AWARD - GARFIELD WATERLINE <br />APPROVAL OF PUBLIC PLACE OF POSTING MEETING NOTICES/GLASSED- <br /> IN BULLETIN BOARD, SOUTH WALL ENTRANCE, CITY HALL <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENT ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br /> NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Sisk congratulated Eagle Hardware on their upcoming grand opening and asked the citizens to not <br />forget the established businesses in Louisville. <br /> <br />Howard asked the City Attorney if items coming before Council put Council at any risk for future <br />legal action. <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that the only area of real concern is with respect to quasi- <br />judicial actions. When an item comes before Council as a quasi-judicial action, the Council is <br />required to make its decision based upon the information at the meeting and ought not to be receiving <br />information outside of the meeting. When Council is acting in a legislative or administrative capacity, <br />those same limits do not apply. <br /> <br />Howard asked ifrezoning of land was considered quasi-judiciary. <br /> <br />Griffiths stated that rezonings are generally considered to be quasi-judicial in nature. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
