REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1245, SERIES 1996 - AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE MONEY FOR THE ACQUISITION OF A PARCEL OF LAND FOR OPEN <br />SPACE PURPOSES - KNOWN AS THE CALLAHAN PROPERTY - 2ND READING - <br />PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 12/21/96) <br /> <br />Ca/friths read by title only Ordinance No. 1245, Series 1996, "An ordinance authorizing the payment <br />of City of Louisville money for the acquisition of a parcel of land for open space purposes." <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, announced that discussions are still on-going on the purchase <br />contract between the contract purchaser of the Callahan property, plus Boulder County and the City <br />of Louisville. The City had just received the information today. He recommended Council not <br />proceed on this until it had been reviewed. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council continue the public hearing on Ordinance No. 1245 until January 21, <br />seconded by Howard. All in favor with Keany being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1, SERIES 1997 - FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE FOR AN <br />ANNEXATION PETITION FILED WITH THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, <br />KNOWN AS THE ADMOR ANNEXATION, AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING <br />THEREON - 2/18/96 <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the property contained 80.558 acres and is located at the <br />southwest quadrant of the intersection of Dillon Road and So. 96th Street. The portion of the <br />property (46.820 acres) east of the Goodhue Ditch would be used for open space. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 1, Series 1997, the Admor Annexation, <br />seconded by Sisk. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Keany being absent. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1246, SERIES 1997 - APPROVING AN ANNEXATION KNOWN AS <br />THE ADMOR ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 1ST <br />READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 2/18/97 <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1246, Series 1997, "An ordinance approving an annexation, <br />known as the Admor Annexation to the City of Louisville, Colorado." <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1246, Series 1997, the Admor Annexation on <br />first reading and set the public heating for February 18, 1997, seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br /> <br />
