Cultural Council <br />Agenda <br />DATE <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />Julie Kovash and Maryan Jaross attended a meeting at the Arts Underground to <br />discuss with Lori Jones, Janet from Creative Framing, Mudslingers and <br />Luminaries the possibility of a First Friday in Downtown Louisville. Post all <br />events to the Art Hub. Don brought up the cost of using the Art Hub linked to the <br />BCAA Calendar and website. <br />Treasurer's Report/Correspondence <br />VII. – Jim Pollicita <br /> -Don moved to establish an LCC savings account at Great Western Bank <br /> -Don moved to move $15,800 from checking to savings <br /> -Maryan moved that Susan McNamara be added as a signatory on the <br />account Jim has written 2 checks to the Winners of the Paintin’ Louisville <br />Contest. <br />City Staff Update <br />VIII. – Kathy Martin and Julie Seydel. <br />The City has given LCC $679 from the Coal Creek Run <br />New Janitorial Service begins Nov 1 at the Art Center <br />Julie is updating and inputting last requests for the Art Center Event <br />Calendar. Julie will meet with LAA, Coal Creek Theater and Center Stage the <br />first part of November to discuss schedule and the new contract agreements. <br />There will be a new $1000 usage fee for all associations who use the Art <br />Center <br />. City Council Update <br />IX – Frost Yarnell - none <br />Art in the Park <br />X. – Maryan Jaross <br /> Timing of release of call for artists and timetable for artists to respond: <br />th <br />Call for Entry goes out November 15 <br />th <br />Entries due February 28 <br />th <br />Committee meets March 15 <br />th <br />Selections made and artists notified by March 30. <br />st <br />Artists must submit signed contract by May 1 <br />st <br />Sculpture delivered by June 1 <br />Grand opening to coincide with first Concert in the Park in June <br />The Budget will be $5100, to include the Call for Entry fee (already paid), <br />marketing and advertising, voter ballot boxes, invitations, honoraria for <br />st <br />the six selected artists ($500 each) and the $500 prize for 1 place. <br />Maryan will contact Northglenn and Loveland and see what their entry <br />fees are. <br />New Arts Center <br />XI. – Don <br /> <br />
