Costs for resurfacing activities on SH42 will be shared with CDOT. Engineering,
surveying, and material testing are projected to cost $60,500, making the total 1997 Street
Reconstruction project cost $1,176,288. Funding for the project left a need for an additional
$61,000. It was discussed at the Finance Committee meeting and the recommendation was to
proceed with the full scope of work as bid and provide for the additional funds to the extent needed
from the available balance in the Capital Projects Fund. Construction of the project is scheduled to
begin in July and should be substantially complete by early October.
Davidson called for Council questions or comments.
2
