There is a question on whether or not he would
be allowed to make application since there is no ordinance allowing for this. Sisk suggested he come
to Council to see what might be available to him on a temporary basis.

Davidson referred the request to Ken Johnstone, Planning Department.

Keany, Levihn and Mayer asked to be excused from this presentation due to a conflict of interest.

Davidson excused them.

John Martins, 1935 Tincup, Louisville, Colorado, a parent from Louisville Elementary School
representing the PTG, spoke with Karen Klein concerning using the building tax money for schools
to help build a gymnasium at Louisville Elementary School. Louisville Elementary has the oldest
elementary school facility in Louisville. Currently, it is somewhat crowded, with new students
enrolling ot~en. Updating this facility would help alleviate some safety issues. The PTG would like
Council to consider their concerns when making decisions regarding these tax monies.

Davidson stated the ordinance enacted to collect the money is still on the books and requires the
money be spent on school facilities that benefit the children of Louisville.

Howard stated the wording of this ordinance required the money be used for all schools in Louisville,
and using the funds for only one school would be inequitable. Howard questioned whether the
Louisville Elementary PTG had approached the school district to participate in the school bond issue
under consideration.

2
