They thanked all <br />the candidates for their interest in serving the community. <br /> <br />JUDGE APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk thanked Municipal Judge Bruce Joss and Deputy Judges Randall <br />Davis and Larry Mertes for their distinguished service to the City. He moved the <br />Council appoint Judge Joss to a two year term and Deputy Judge Mertes and <br />Deputy Judge Davis each to a two year term. Councilor Clabots seconded. All <br />in favor. <br /> <br />Deputy City Clerk Hanson administered the oath of office to Judge Bruce Joss. <br />Judge Joss administered the oath to the Associate Judges, Randall Davis and <br />Larry Mertes. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 41, SERIES 2009 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />BUSINESS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT WITH GLACIER ICE CREAM & <br />GELATO FOR REINVESTMENT AND ATTRACTION OF A NEW RETAIL <br />SHOP AT 1387 SOUTH BOULDER IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Economic Development Director Star introduced the business assistance <br />package for an ice cream store package to fill the Baskins Robbins site. She <br />stated the incentive is modest in comparison to other packages Council has <br />seen. It is giving back a percl~ntage of the sales tax collected during the first two <br />years of operation. The assistance is capped at $7,500 total and the store must <br />remain for five years or would be obligated to return the assistance to the City. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />
