He was asked if this incentive package would help make the decision to <br />move his business to Louisvillle. He confirmed it would. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilor Sackett moved to approve Resolution No. 41, Series 2009, <br />seconded by Councilor Dalton. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a <br />vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 42, SERIES 2009 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />BUSINESS ASSIST ANGE AGREEMENT WITH FRESCA FOODS, INC FOR <br />EXPANSION OF COMPANY CREATING NEW JOBS AND OCCUPANCY OF <br />NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SPACE <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Economic Development Director Star reported this existing business in CTC <br />welcomed herself, Councilor Dalton, Director Wood and City Manager Fleming to <br />tour the facility in July. They specialize in natural and organic products. The <br />business is in four locations and would like to consolidate into a newly <br />constructed space in the Colorado Tech Center. They have been tempted to <br />move to a location with lower rents in spite of their loyalty to Louisville. They <br />have 77 employees currently, 84 in a location in Federal Heights and plan to hire <br />20 more if they can move forward with this consolidation. The business <br />assistance package shares back some of the building permit revenue of the <br />tenant finish. She reported the package would be about $28,000 which includes <br />the standard provision they n13ed to remain in the space or return the funds. <br /> <br />Todd Dutkin, CEO of Fresca Foods, Inc., spoke about consolidating their <br />business within Louisville. HH said the natural and organic industry continues to <br />grow, and they wish to take advantage of the growth and tremendous business <br />atmosphere in Louisville. He explained they don't want to leave Louisville and <br />welcomed any help the Council could provide. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilor Dalton remarked hH was glad they were able to consummate this deal. <br />
