- 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUED FROM 3/17/98 (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES <br />3/7/98) <br /> <br />Light read by title only Ordinance No. 1279, Series 1998, "An ordinance authorizing the sale and <br />conveyance of a parcel of land owned by the City of Louisville." <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, asked that the public hearing on this ordinance be continued as <br />they had not yet worked out the outside drainage issues related to the development on this parcel on <br />which the land trade and conveyance were associated. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that Council continue the public hearing until April 21, seconded by Keany. All <br />in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13, SERIES 1998 - DESIGNATING PART OF THE FUND BALANCE <br />OF THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF A <br />COMMUNITY PARK AND FUTURE DEBT REDUCTION <br /> <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director, stated that during the 1998 Budget process it was identified that there <br />should be two designations to the Capital Projects Fund: 1.) An additional $100,000 for the <br />community park, bringing it up to $300,000 designated for a community park; 2.) An additional <br />$100,000 for prepayment of debt that is serviced by the Capital Projects fund, bringing that up to <br />$200,000. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions or motions. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 13, Series 1998, designating $100,000 to the <br />community park and $100,000 in future debt reduction, seconded by Levihn. Roll call was taken. <br />Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12, SERIES 1998 - FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT, FINAL PUD <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN - THE PARK AT CTC - CONTINUED FROM 3/17/98 <br /> <br />Davidson announced that he was not at the original public hearing. He asked if anyone in the <br />audience or on City Council objected to him participating on this item. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Ken Johnstone, Acting Planning Director, stated that this is for a 63 acre industrial development to <br />be known as The Park at CTC. It was continued to allow the applicant and the City to work through <br />issues related to open space dedication and the design of the irrigation ditch that runs along the north <br />side of Cherry Street. The Maple Grove Water System has controlling interest of the irrigation ditch <br /> <br /> <br />
