Miss Mill wanted <br /> the City to know of the plans. <br /> CAC APPOINTMENTS Councilwoman Scholl moved that Mrs. Vera <br /> Taylor and Mr. Richard Hershey be <br /> appointed to replace Mr. Jim Owens and <br /> Mr. Don Johnson. Seconded by Councilman <br /> DelPizto. Motion carried. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS A Citizen asked if it would be possible <br /> to run water down through the Cemetery <br /> pipe year round so the residents in <br /> that area could hook onto the line. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that there would be <br /> some problems with the matter. One <br /> would be the sizing of the pipe and <br /> the other is the cost of burying the <br /> pipe. He suggested that the City come <br /> up with some type of estimate as to <br /> what it mould cost. <br /> Mr. Hershey asked again about the carrying <br /> of weapons. Councilman Berry stated <br /> that he thought the situation came under <br /> the Fish & Cams laws. This stated that it <br /> • would be illegal to carry a loaded wea- <br /> pon within the City limits. He felt <br /> that this is all that would really be <br /> needed. Councilwoman Dhsiux suggested <br /> that the City follow the states law and <br /> also the Game & Fish laws on the matter <br /> and not make an ordinance. Councilman <br /> Dicarlo stated that we should get • <br /> definite reading on the law. <br /> Mr. Hershey also asked that maybe a wall <br /> be made to hold maps and other important <br /> information for meeting in an advan- <br /> tageous place or a roll down screen. <br /> MILEAGE ALLOWANCES Council had previously discussed the <br /> appropriatness of the paying of the City <br /> Treasurer for mileage expenses. Mr. Wurl <br /> stated that there was a part of the per- <br /> sonnel code enclosed in the packet which <br /> stated that an officer or employee of the <br /> City who is required and specifically <br /> authorized by the City Administrator to <br /> operate his personal vehicle to conduct <br /> City business he shall be allowed a <br /> mileage allowance of $.15 per mile.
