Council approved with the <br /> request and stated for Mr. Wurl to go <br /> through with the study on the project. <br /> Mr. Wilbur Madonna questioned the legal <br /> notices in the paper. Mr. Conarroe stated <br /> that the Legislature sets up the price and <br /> type size. <br /> A question was brought up as to the fire <br /> signals near the Middle School. Mr. <br /> Wurl stated that there was someone working <br /> on the project. <br /> CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> REPORT <br /> BUILDING PERMIT FEES A sheet holding seven cities summaries on <br /> permit fees was viewed by Council. Council- <br /> man DelPizzo stated that he felt the permit <br /> should not have to be purchased until there <br /> was $200.00 worth of work on the job. <br /> After discussion Councilman DelPizzo moved <br /> that the building permit minimum be raised <br /> from $50.00 to $200.00. There was no <br /> second; therefore the motion was killed. <br /> CHURCH SITES Mr. Wurl stated that there were two church <br /> sites in conjunction with the annexation <br /> of 1st Federal and Wood Brothers. The <br /> Methodist and Baptist Church wrote letters <br /> to the City. The Methodist Church showing <br /> interest and the Baptist Church stating <br /> that they had just built a new church. <br /> GRANT REPORTS Mr. Wurl reported that the CBD and Parking <br /> Lot Grants were not qualified for FHA <br /> Grants, however the grant on the industrial <br /> area is still in the Grant. <br /> GASOLINE STORAGE TANKS Mr. Wurl reported that the storage tanks <br /> were not violating any laws and the tank <br /> owners would have to be talked to about <br /> removing the tanks from their location. <br /> FACILITY TOUR June 28, 1974 was the tenative date for <br /> the tour of the City plants at 10:00 A.K. <br /> MEETING WITH LAFAYETTE A joint Council meeting with Lafayette was <br /> tenatively scheduled for June 25, 1974. <br /> PUBLIC SERVICE FRANCHISE Mr. Wurl stated that this matter was placed <br /> on the agenda to inform Council that the <br /> first of 1975, the 25 year franchise with <br /> -4- <br />
